Review on Origins Restaurant at Pan Pacific Hotel Perth

Hello hello dear readers! If there are any out there! Anyway, today's post is firstly going to be a review on my experience at Origins Restaurant Pan Pacific Hotel at Perth.

My coordinates: Louboutin heels, Balanciaga bag, Cartier watch, Tifanny and co bracelet, MNG dress

Jenny's Coordinates: White dress with lacy sleeves (only she knows where its from ;p), Salvatore Feragamo heels, Rolex watch, YSL silver clutch and Chanel necklace.
Indulge your senses! Pan Pacific Hotel is a classic luxury 5 star hotel located all around the world! But I'll be posting specifically about the one at Perth, Australia. For those of you that don't know, it is located on Adelaide Terrace at the City of Perth surrounded with other beautiful hotels.

I decided to try Origins Restaurant because a friend of mine Elisha works there and suggested me to try the spotless place! Therefore, My friend babe Jenny tie and I went to give it a go.
The restaurant was located at the lobby next to the beautiful bright blue pool! And when I say bright blue, I mean BRIGHT blue. . The whole pool was lighted up in the colour of blue as the surrounding was all dark! It looked so pretty! Origins Restaurant not only provides dinner by inspiring chefs, but also high tea! Wonder how high tea all started? Legend has it, afternoon tea originated in 1840 when Anna the 7th Dutchess of Bedford would have tea, sandwiches and cakes brought to her drawing room in the afternoon, thus the tradition of afternoon tea was born. SORRY! A little off topic here!

The following were what we ordered:
PS, We didn't order entrée's because since we were sick, we did not have much appetite. . but. .
BON APPETIT

I ordered a Risotto. It contains Asparagus & green pea risotto, purple basil, lemon oil, Parmesan

Jenny babe ordered a Crispy Skinned Salmon Fillet with seared scallops with braised cabbage and saffron sauce

For dessert, We decided to share! We normally don't eat this little really!
Crumble creme brulee with mixed berries and vanilla sauce

The atmosphere was bright and it gives you that typical fancy luxurious feeling when you walk in. They had soothing music and the best part was. . We were the only people there! I guess its because its a weekday!

The lobby area

Overall. . Ill rate the atmosphere of the restaurant and the food!
Atmosphere: 7 out of 10

Food: 6.5 out of 10

Service: 8 out of 10

Reason: The atmosphere of the restaurant was very typical. Not saying that it wasn't beautiful which it was! But it did not stand out to me that much. The food was above average. . I think its because I have had better. But it was still great enough for me to finish everything and to actually be full! There was nothing special about the risotto. I could order a risotto at some random Italian restaurant and it would taste slightly just slightly not as good. The salmon though, was cooked excellently but the other ingredients didn't have much taste to it. The creme brulee was tasty because of the fruits and the extra yummy sauce that it was accompanied with. I'd give it extra points for looking pretty though! The service was great! We were able to do separate billing, which much 5 star restaurants do not do, and the porter at the entrance was so cute and kind enough to help Jenny and I take a picture when he saw how much of camwhore's we were!
Would I return?: YES! But that is only if I don't find some place else that is better!

My first post ever! Plus what I think about online shopping

Good evening my fellow readers! If there are people even reading this. . I have decided to start blogging again! Yup that's right, for those of you that have been following me for a couple of years. . This is probably my millionth attempt on trying to blog and actually sticking to it! For all the other bloggers out there that have been blogging for years! I seriously look up to them! I can honestly admit that I quit really easily. My level of dedication is terrible.

So what would I be talking about today? Well,

O N L I N E   S H O P P I N G
Different people have different perspectives when it comes to shopping. I personally am not a big fan of online shopping. Reason:
1. I can't touch or smell the outfit. . yes smell. Sometimes by smelling a product, you would know whether if its authentic or not. I'm weird, yes. But it works!!
2. I can't try it on. Different brands vary in their sizes. I am normally a size 6, but sometimes A size 8 fits me better for other brands.
3. You don't know if what you're seeing is what you're going to get. In my whole life, I probably only made a couple of purchases online and a number of them weren't very pleasant experiences. I have had outfits delivered to me, looking totally different in material, and even colour! It is outrages.
4. Not sure if it would even get delivered to me. SCAMMERS! (this is where the law comes in, and I can give you some advice maybe hehe)

But I still do tend to shop online once in a while. .

Positives as to why we choose to shop online:
1. May be cheaper compared to normal retail stores. Sometimes its too cheap to even think it may be descent. . But amazingly I have had friends that bought clothes at a very cheap price, but also had amazing quality!
2. It is different. More people around your country or area would have similar clothes etc. But by purchasing something online from either a different country or state will . .I guess make you somehow special!
3. It is more convenient. Sometimes we're just too tired and we stay at home lazing around not wanting to get up and get out! Therefore, shopping online would maybe save us fuel, time and energy.

Recently, I have purchased Clothes from Lexi Lyla by the gorgeous Dawn Yang. I am such a fan! As she is not only gorgeous, but also because despite the fact that she is so well off and famous, she goes on mission trips! Which is something I have been wanting to do but haven't had the courage to do so. Anyway, back to my point.
Visit  LEXI LYLA  on www.lexilyla.com the clothes are sweet, sexy, sophisticated looking and affordable! Best thing ever!

I am pleased to say that for the 5th time? from shopping online. . This is my best experience. Maybe I am overacting a little. . because some of you shop online a lot, but I don't and I have been experiencing awful services.
My package from Lexi Lyla came in packaged really well. The clothes were not faulty, AND YES! I got what was exactly shown on my computer screen on their website. Good quality! It also came with a refund sheet, that in case if it was faulty or whatever we could send it back and get another one! Now this is what I call great service. It took about 2 weeks for my clothes to arrive which isn't very long for an online store.

Another site that I would recommend from my own personal experience and also from friends would be. . .
NASTY GAL www.nastygal.com

All of my recommendations ship INTERNATIONALLY and it is based on my own personal opinion, friends opinion or the products are just plain A-AMAZING
Of course ebay is another major common site, but do becareful! Check the sellers ratings before you decide to purchase from them! and also there are many sellers on ebay selling the same thing! So make sure to browse through looking for better bargains!

For big spenders!

REEBONZ at www.reebonz.com

It is apparently the Most trusted for buying & selling of the widest range of luxury products online.Which I guess is true! Because a friend of mine purchased a YSL tote and was happy with what she got, plus it is apparently a few hundred dollars cheaper then buying em' from the stores!

CARTE BLANCHE X by another famous gorgeous fashionista Arissa Cheo

www.carteblanche-x.com/shop/

Room X carries various well known brands such as Karen walker, AM eyewear, Wildfox, Mawi, runawaydreamz, 3v07 by Vanness Wu! All items ranging from clothes to accessories.

There are so many other online shops that I can blog about! But I'm just narrowing it down to my favs. Last but not least!

SECRET WEAPON LAB by Cris Horwang “ All my bags are a statement and the SECRET WEAPON. I love to add an element of surprise whether it is in the function or the interesting gadgets in the bag to make the line fun and fashionable.” www.secretweaponlab.com
I LOVE LOVE LOVE! The Rich/Bitch bag. It really just screams 'LOOK AT ME'.

I know my post today may be a little bias or common. .  but I just wanted to state my own opinion on this whole thingy and to just share with everyone on my experience and stores that I like most!
Also, lets hope this whole blogging thing works out. I give myself a month. . before I crack and stop updating!
To haters, If you don't enjoy or have the decency to respect my opinion and what I want to share, just don't click on this link ever again.
I'm out xo
